Important Electrical Panel Recall Notice

Dependable Service Since 1926

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 1.4 million electrical panels have been recalled due to thermal burn and fire hazards.

The recall involves Schneider Electric QO Plug-on Neutral Load Centers manufactured between February 1, 2020, and January 12, 2022. During a quality monitoring process, a loose neutral screw connection was detected. If that connection is loose, the affected load center may overheat, posing thermal burn and fire hazards that could include property damage and personal injury as a result.

This load center was sold or used by home improvement stores, hardware stores, home builders, and electrical contractors.
Recommended action for homeowners includes repair or replacement of the recalled load center.

If you believe you may have a recalled electrical panel installed in your recently built or remodeled home, you are encouraged to contact Schneider Electric or arrange to have the recalled load center inspected by a trained electrician to determine if replacement or repair is required. Further, it is recommended that consumers who continue to use the load centers while awaiting repair should have working smoke alarms in their homes.
